From Dec. 16 to Jan. 31, Winterset Elementary is participating in “Be a Reading Machine,” a Winter Reading Challenge sponsored by Beanstack and Baker & Taylor. We challenge our school community to read at least 100,000 minutes during the challenge and keep track of their reading on our Beanstack site (visit www.beanstack.com/find-a-site and search Winterset Elementary) or on the Beanstack mobile app (instructions for downloading the app are in the backpack).
Thousands of other libraries and schools across the nation are joining in too, for a chance at winning cash prizes for their community.
