This is the first in-person learning day for this cohort of 11 school districts and Headstarts gathering for a 3-year training sequence aimed at supporting learning for ALL preschoolers but specifically for those who have Individualized Education Plans. The Preschool SDI framework is a collaboration effort between the Iowa Department of Education, Heartland AEA, school districts and Headstarts. ππ§π¦π©βπ«

Check out this great flyer made by Truitt P. promoting the Coin Drive WES second graders are holding to benefit the Paw Pantry!

The second-grade students have been learning about being good citizens and ways they can help the community. After learning about the Paw Pantry, they decided to partner with WES Wellness committee to have a coin competition between all the grades at the elementary. The coins collected will be donated to the Paw Pantry to purchase personal hygiene products and other necessities.
Coin jars will be located by the office and the competition will be held throughout October.
