This Saturday, November 18 will be our last “Reading with Rover” for the year. Students do not have to be fluent readers in order to register/participate. They can tell the dogs their own story, show a book, or have their grownup read a book alongside them.

Friday's visitors to the 1st grade were engineers, landscape architects, and interior designers from Shive-Hattery in West Des Moines. They talked about their careers, how they use math everyday, and did activities to go with it!
The third grade created a WALL OF HONOR to recognize veterans who have answered the call of duty for our great nation. Pictured are veterans from our families and school community.

3rd Graders have been learning about money in math. Today, they shopped with pretend money at the "Chump & Champ's Snack Shack". High School Helpers, Jay and Ashlynn were their cashiers.
