2nd grade did an amazing job presenting murals on a specific habitat they researched. They ended their Monday with a black light party and flashlight reading!

Community members shared their creatures with 2nd grade. They taught our kids about how they are native to Iowa and gave information about each animal. (pictured is Mr. Imel's classroom)

We have acquired a large amount of Lost & Found items. Please stop in before the end of the year to claim your items (or call to identify from these pictures). All remaining items will be donated during summer break. Thank you!

We ask that you do not schedule a visit the first or last two weeks of school because teachers are working with students to establish and maintain normal routines. For this reason, Ms. Judy's Cafe is closed for the remainder of the school year. Thank you.

2nd graders had parent visitor Jessie Irr join the class to do a surprise activity for kids to make gifts for someone special this weekend! What an incredible experience!

Welcoming the sunshine in 2nd grade ☀

2nd and 3rd graders finishing the year strong with coding!

We were excited to welcome Iowa author Jill Esbaum to the elementary yesterday! Jill was able to visit with all students, preschool through 3rd grade, to share her experiences as an author. Students even had the chance to be the very first to read her newest book, Stinkbird Has a Superpower, which won't be available in stores until May 16! Thank you to Jill for being such a great guest!
