September Student of the Month Sponsored by Integrity Financial:
These students have been leaders throughout our building during the month of September. Proud of them!

8th grade Social Studies class had an opportunity to learn more about 9/11 with guest speakers Ben Messer and Dio Ayala. Thanks for sharing your experiences with our students.

Junior High fall sports have begun this week. 7th grade volleyball vs ADM. Girls are playing great!

Reason#217 why JH staff loves our job: HS softball and silver chord students volunteered to help with Family Engagement Night. You know who you are. It was an awesome night with students and families. #wintersethuskypride

Interested in learning/sponsoring our Junior High Student of the Month Program?? Contact the JH office for details. Great way to acknowledge students "bringing it every day"! #wintersethuskypride

School is right around the corner! Did you know the new JH/HS schedule is from 8:00am-3:05pm? Don't be late the first day!

Day#4: Mount Vernon and President Washington estate. All are having fun and learning a lot about our countries history.

Day #3: Learning about Gettysburg and US civil war.

Day #2 of Washington D.C.

Great day in Washington D.C. Seeing and learning a lot!!!

JH students spent this week learning about physical health. They worked out with guest speaker Kenna Johnson and learned how to gauge their exercise intensity using their heart rate. They planned workouts by researching aerobic activity, and bone/muscle-strengthening exercises.

It was a fun day of Husky U. for 7th and 8th graders at the JH. Michelle Knoll from Madison County Health Care System spoke with students about healthy food choices. We practiced converting fractions for recipe portions to feed different size groups , and applied those skills.
